The Show Time Singers was founded in January of 2003.We are dedicated to staging high quality musical performances for the community at large, enjoying both a cappella and accompanied singing, while specializing in songs that audiences can easily relate to—and perhaps even sing along with—like Broadway tunes, standards, patriotic music, and even a little rock and roll! Enjoying community performances, encouraging soloists and small group harmonies, learning the vocal "craft," and having fun doing it are our goals and great joys. That’s what Loretta Fleming says about a workshop for people with Type 2 Diabetes that has changed her life.Five years ago, Loretta, who has Type 2 Diabetes, weighed 378 pounds and had an A1C level of 12.4% (the normal level is 5.7% or below). was founded in 1943 and operates the Harmony Museum, which interprets 250 years of rich history. We have presentations that include George Washington's 1753 mission, Harmonists, Mennonites, and the Ball Collection of outstanding sporting rifles by 19th century Harmony gunsmith Charles Flowers.“They are surprised, but I’m not because it changed mine.I told them when they walked in the door – the program works.” To learn more about DSMP workshops, contact Chris Norwood at Chris [email protected]
