She told them Standifer was her boyfriend, referred to him as her “Daddy,” and “admitted to partaking in an escort service since arriving in Fairbanks on Feb. The woman said she moved to Anchorage from a village about a year ago and started dating Standifer several months ago after meeting him online.
Police requested the assistance of the Statewide Drug Enforcement Unit “due to the drug and cash nexus,” according to the complaint.
Members of the unit recognized the Suburban as the same vehicle stopped by an Alaska State Troopers on the Parks Highway near Healy on Feb. During that stop, a trooper found Standifer and Williams traveling with two young women — aged 19 and 20 — and approximately ,500 in cash.
The woman told police she and the 20-year-old woman worked as prostitutes for Standifer while staying at the Extended Stay Hotel on Feb. She said the other woman left to stay with a relative after Standifer assaulted her at the hotel and she, Standifer and Williams moved to the Westmark.
The woman said she continued to prostitute herself for Standifer at the Westmark because he had beaten her before and she was afraid of him, according to the complaint.
